problem with Adelphia~?

Well, i guess the problem that was discussed earlier hit my computer or something. i cant login to any messengers and this is the only website i can get to come up. anyone else experiencing problems? Im in appalachia

my adelpia has been working fine except for the night time...at about 1 it just turns off...and it has done this for the past several nights...but other than that i am very satisfied with them

When I had cable television my Adelphia cable modem would die at about 1:00 or 2:00 am on many days.
Turns out it was happening when the cable company was doing their "Emergency Broadcast System" test.

we are dropping the cable modem/adelphia service, as well as as the digital cable. We are going to pick up all of our services through verizon, dsl modem works better than our cable modem and loads much faster, plus we will save money as well.

Sounds like a DNS issue to me. Try rebooting your modem (and router) and see if that helps any.

Adelphia's service seems to be getting worse and worse. I can't really complain about my service, but I can certainly complain about the price.

I'm glad someone has brought this up, the past month we have been having trouble with our internet service with Adelphia. For almost a year the service was good, but lately the speed is terrible and we can't hardly pull up anything without it taking forever. I paid my bill today at the office and I told them what problems I've had with the service and I asked them has anyone else reported any problems and the lady just underlined the phone# I needed to call and didn't even answer my questions. This has been terrible and I'm not keeping it if this is all I'm gonna have out of it. [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Figured out what happened. there was a scattered outage around here. he told me the time it would be fixed. and it was almost on the dot. haha im sorry that nobody has good service with adelphia like i have. I really cant complain about it at all except for when i first got the service it screwed up often. oh well though.

ive got adelphia and it sucks lately...trying to get service when there is a problem is like finding a lake in the sahara...im gonna give it one more month
